These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of StageVoice (“the Service”, “we”, “us”), a web-based widget that displays audience messages on a stage screen, reads them aloud with synthetic voices, and shows a tip or donation goal. The Service is operated by , . By creating an event, purchasing a plan, or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms.
The Service consists of three web pages per event: a fan page (opened by the audience from a QR code or link), a stage screen (displayed on an LED wall, projector or stream), and a remote (used by you or your moderator to approve, hide and replay messages, control voices and start or stop the show). We provide the software; you provide the event, the screen hardware, the internet connection and the moderation.
Access to paid features is granted to the e-mail address used at checkout. You receive private links for your events. Links that contain the remote key give full control over your screen: keep them private and share them only with people you trust. You are responsible for all activity under your links. We may reset keys on request.
Refunds are described in our Refund policy.
The Service does not process, hold or transfer money from your audience. Tip and donation buttons link to the payment destination that you configure (for example a Stripe, PayPal, Ko-fi or bank-provider link). Any payment made by an audience member is a transaction between them and you (or your payment provider). We charge no commission on tips and we are not a party to those transactions. Where a payment provider integration is offered (for example to verify that a message is attached to a confirmed payment), it relies on that provider's API and may be unavailable or discontinued; we are not liable for its accuracy.
You are solely responsible for complying with laws that apply to collecting money from the public in your jurisdiction, including charitable fundraising rules and taxes.
The Service generates synthetic speech from text written by members of the public, and displays that text on a screen that you control. You agree that:
You are the publisher of everything shown on your screen. We may suspend or terminate events or accounts that breach this section, without refund in cases of serious or repeated abuse.
Messages submitted by your audience are stored to run your event and show history, and are deleted according to our Privacy policy. By using the Service you grant us a licence to process this content as needed to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership of your or your audience's content.
We aim for the Service to be available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Synthetic voices rely on third-party speech engines; when a server voice is unavailable the screen automatically falls back to the voices built into the browser. We recommend a sound check from the remote before every show.
The Service, its design, code and documentation belong to us or our licensors. Your plan gives you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your events during the paid period. Your names, logos and images remain yours.
The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue, lost tips, or damage arising from content submitted by your audience, from your hardware or internet connection, or from third-party payment or speech providers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You can stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for breach of these Terms. Sections 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 survive termination.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by e-mail or on this page at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of . Questions and notices: . We answer within 3 business days.
